All of our greeting packages are all-inclusive services!  We handle the design, delivery, setup & removal.  Each greeting also includes a choice of colors and/or special interests graphics. Delivery is completed after dark the evening BEFORE your event. Rental duration is 24-36 hours. Tax is not included in rental prices.

Do I get to keep the sign?

Unfortunately, no, you don't get to keep it. We are a rental service.


What areas do you service?

We serve Mandeville, Madisonville, parts of Covington (limited service to 70435 since we share this zip code with Sign Gypsies Franklinton), and Abita Springs (excluding Money Hill- this is also serviced by Franklinton) only. Visit to find a location near you if you do not live in these areas. A delivery surcharge will apply for addresses above Hwy 36 and 435 in Abita, and US Hwy 190 in Covington. Our delivery boundary is Hwy 1078/Million Dollar Rd for Covington. 

When are the signs set up?

We sometimes begin delivering immediately after dark, so please make

sure your blinds are closed and leave an outside light on for us if possible. 


We usually have several deliveries on our schedule so delivery times will vary. We will text you when we start deliveries, and will also text or email a photo of your yard greeting rental once it has been delivered.

School setups occur outside of school hours.

How much does it cost to rent a sign?

We offer multiple packages and upgrades (like mega numbers that are 5 ft tall) to fit most any budget.

Mega Number/Frame:

$85- plus tax for evening delivery.

Happy Birthday with regular size age + name:

$95 plus tax for evening delivery.

Mega Cake/Starbursts/Specialty Happy Birthday Sets:

 $85 for evening delivery

Custom Messages (up to 20 letters or characters)-

$109 plus tax for evening delivery.

Baby Packages range from $95 plus tax for a 3 day rental.

Schools/Churches/On-Site Businesses- $55 to $75 for a 24 hour rental

Light Up Happy Birthday set- $125

Do you take last minute orders?

If we have the availability and the inventory we can do same day deliveries. A rush fee of $25 may be added to orders that are received within 48 hours of delivery Monday-Thursday. The rush fee increases to $50 rush orders submitted Friday-Sunday. We are receiving an unprecedented volume of orders and are selling out for several dates, so rush orders are not always possible at this time for birthday orders. We recommend texting us at 985-275-0998 to find out rush order availability.

Do you set up in parks or event halls?

We require expressed written permission from management approving sign installation, and can only accept orders when delivery staff is available for tailored delivery and pick-up windows. A surcharge might apply.


How long does the sign stay in my yard?

Our typical rental period is between 24-36 hours, you can add additional days for $40. If you need the sign taken down EARLIER than 24 hours, please do NOT take it down yourself! Contact us and we will come remove the sign ASAP. All graduation packages stay in the yard approximately 24 hours and extra days rent at full price.


Do I need to be home when you come to set up or take down the sign?

No! You simply place the order with us, pay your invoice, and we handle the rest! You are free to let us know your preference for yard placement, but we try to place our signs in a highly visible area, and we can text you a photo of the finished product if you like.


What if it rains, or we have severe weather? Are the signs waterproof?

Yes, our signs are waterproof! We will even set up in the rain, as long as there is NO lightning! Being in Louisiana, occasionally severe weather will prevent us from setting up entirely or leaving the setup up for a full 24-36 hours. In the event we have to cancel or change the timing of your greeting, you will be notified in as advance as possible.

Can I set up or take down the sign myself?

Unfortunately, no. Our signs must be set up by trained SG Northshore personnel. This ensures you receive the best greeting possible & will be a true reflection of our brand standards. Setups must be handled in the same manner to avoid damage to the signs. We thank you for your understanding!


How early should I order?

We schedule several months in advance, so we recommend getting on our schedule at least 3-4 weeks before your event. The months of May and August are our highest volume months, and are more prone to selling out. We recommend placing orders for these months at least 4-6 weeks before your event.


What if I need more than one name? Can I combine a set up for more than one person?

Yes! We can still make your celebration fun and personal for each recipient. Just tell us each person’s names, interests, and color preferences during your ordering process. Extra names are $10 for any selected package.
